Are you tired of scrolling through the same old boring shows every night for hours? Want to find a show that is perfect just for you? Well don’t worry, I’m here to help you! These shows will have you laughing for hours and not wanting to stop watching.

1. The Office (2005-2018)

A wild, crazy, and hilariously funny show. The office is the best show for having laughs and crying a bit, but mostly laughing. This show is filled with pranks, love, and, most importantly, Steve Carell.

Pros: Stanley, Pam, Jim, and Creed

Cons: Karen Filippelli

2. That 70s Show (1998-2006)

A journey through Eric Forman’s basement which shows the lives of teens through the 70’s. This show is the absolute best and will always have you on the edge of your seat laughing. I personally recommend this show to absolutely everyone because it is so good and the characters are all very relatable!m (I finished almost all 8 seasons in 2 months).

Pros: Red Forman, Kitty’s laugh and Fez

Cons: Laugh track

3. Black Mirror (2011-Present)

A twisted, mind spinning, crazy, and suspenseful show. Digs deep on how technology is in the modern world. Black Mirror will have your mind confused, blown, and astonished. Also, its new interactive episode is insane yet so impressive. Favorite Episodes: Hang the DJ and White Bear.

Pros: Mind Spinning, will leave you astonished

Cons: Can be a little overwhelming if you don’t like thrillers.

4. The Way He Looks (2014)

The Way He Looks shows the life of a blind teenager, Leonardo, who is trying to find out his relationships with others. With the arrival of a new friend, Gabrielle, Leonardo changes the way he views relationships and the world.

Pros: Filmed very well, showed the struggles of being a blind teen

Cons: No cons, incredible.

5.Dumplin' (2018)

As a plus-size teenager tackles the world head-on, she applies for a pageant as her friends follow in her footsteps. They face challenges, highs, lows, and the world. Dumplin' shows how the world treats people differently and how to overcome such obstacles.

Pros: Shows the harsh truth of reality and how women deal with it

Cons: No cons, this show is really fun!

6. What Happened To Monday (2017)

When the world becomes overpopulated, a new one-child policy comes into play. Seven siblings try to live in a world while avoiding governmental execution to survive. As one of the siblings is missing, a race against the government occurs. Filled with drama, suspense, and mystery, this show will have you on the edge of your seat.

Pros: Suspenseful, Heart-breaking

Cons: Not for people who are looking for a comedy!

7. Last Shift (2014)

Comedies and sci-fi not your thing? Well, don’t worry. Last Shift is the best option for you if you’re into horror. This movie left me anxious and uneasy, however, this is a great movie. After Jessica Loren has been assigned the last shift, she waits for a crew to pick evidence up but this shift leaves her in a living nightmare.

Pros- If you like scary movies, this movie is definitely for you

Cons- Plot gets confusing a bit, but still good

Horror Movies:

Would You Rather (2012)

Room (2015)

Comedies:

Sixteen Candles (1984)

The Breakfast Club (1985)

Overall, Netflix is amazing and allows us to pursue our own interests and create our own opinions about popular culture. The list curated above is one based on my own opinions and is not a definitive ranking. However, these are shows and movies that I believe you will enjoy, as I have. Happy watching!
