When it comes to Jewish food, my personal go-tos are falafel and hummus. What can I say? I am a simple girl! But one thing I enjoy just as much as Jewish foods is horoscopes and astrology. So, today, I am bringing you the best of both worlds. Keep reading to find out what food suits your astrological sign the most!

Aries (March 21-April 19) - Bagel

Aries love to be the center of attention. They are very optimistic and enjoy always being on top. Bagels are one of the most loved foods out there, and they sure are very enjoyable. They also happen to be one of the first foods to come to mind when thinking about Jewish foods - and Aries are first in Zodiac line.

Taurus (April 20-May 20th) - Hummus

This Earth sign is most definitely hummus. Often lazy and possessive (just like everyone is with their hummus, am I right?), but also very reliable and practical. You could totally catch a Taurus relaxing on the sofa and snacking on some hummus with pita, carrots, or just by itself, so this is a perfect snack to eat during Taurus season.

Gemini (May 21-June 20) - Challah

See, I myself am a Gemini, and I personally believe that we do live up to dual-personalities stereotype. Challah is typically made out of 3  braided pieces of dough, which is what makes it so special. As with Geminis, who's different opinions and their ability to adapt to situations, braids together like Challah to make their diverse personalities. Geminis are also prone to jealously, which is definitely how I feel when someone is eating Challah.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) - Rugelach

Crabs are most definitely not Kosher, but we still love Cancers, don't we? Cancers tend to be moody, but sensitive, soft and emotional... kind of like this lovely desert. It's tasty and fluffy, and will make you happy, just like your favorite Cancer friend.

Leo (July 23-August 22) - Shakshuka

Leos are creative, fierce and spicy, like your typical fire sign. What better dish for them, than a bowl of warm Shakshuka? Leos love the spotlight, and can be very self centered. I don't know about you, but in my home, Shakshuka is always in the center of attention (and so is my Leo mum who makes the best Shakshuka!), and is one of our personal favorites.

Virgo (August 23-September 22) - Matzo Ball Soup

Virgos are very logical and practical, and tend to be perfectionists. Virgos are Earth signs, and are pretty down to Earth and calm. They are very loyal, just like Matzo Ball Soup. It's one of the best comfort foods ever, and can always calm you down. It's just perfect, and you can't change my mind.

Libra (September 23-October 22) - Blintz

Have you ever met a Libra that can actually make up their mind? Yeah, me neither, that's why Blintzes, which can be both sweet or salty, are perfect for a Libra. Libras tend to reach harmony in all aspects of their lives, and are very friendly and cooperative. But they really aren't the ones who can make difficult decisions.

Scorpio ( October 23-November 21) - Kugel

Scorpios are very passionate and loving, and they do everything with care. Even though they tend to have unapproachable vibes, they really are good souls. Kugel is one of those dishes that just hits home. Even though it doesn’t look the nicest, it ends up being so tasty, you just keep wanting more. It's the dish that needs heart and soul to be successful!

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)  -  Latkes

Sagittarius' are very adventurous and open minded. Latkes are deep fried potato pancakes, which are loved by many. There are so many variations of these delicious treats, and they are very adaptable, which is also a Sagittarius trait. Also, Latkes are usually eaten in December (coincidence? I think not).

Capricorn (December 22-January 19) - Falafel

Capricorn is also an Earth sign, and they tend to be very responsible and calm. They enjoy nice foods, but are usually in a rush and attempt to multitask their entire life, so falafel in a pita is a perfect meal for them. It’s easy to eat on the go!

Aquarius (January 20-February 18) - Babka

Babka is a sweet (but not too sweet), chocolaty and nutty treat. Aquarius' are very original and creative, just like this dessert. They enjoy spending time on themselves, and Babka totally suits their sophisticated personalities.

Pisces (February 19-March 20) - Hamentashen

Pisces are (arguably, but I stand by this opinion) the most creative sign of all signs. They pay attention to small details and are usually very artistic. Hamentashen, to me, are pure art and also very tasty, and really fit to a Pisces. Again, they are usually eaten around March (around Purim time - which also happens to be the most creative holiday) , so that adds up perfectly.
