Have you heard about Giving BBYO Day and wondered what it was? I'm here to tell you everything you need to know—from what it is to what you can do to help!

What Giving BBYO Day Is

Giving BBYO Day is a world wide fundraiser to help BBYO members and chapters raise money. This event happens on November 28th, or Giving Tuesday (you can donate beforehand though). Regions all over the world will be hosting calling parties where they will be requesting donations. The international goal is one million dollars, and currently we have raised just over $130,000!

Why Giving BBYO Day is So Important

Giving BBYO Day is so important because it directly impacts your region and its members. All money raised goes straight to regions to help fund programs and provide scholarships for events such as conventions, summer programs, and International Convention. This funding keeps BBYO affordable for everyone, and allows for the Order to help support Israel. For me, BBYO has provided an outlet to hang out with other Jewish teens doing incredible programs such as Shabbat dinners, pool parties, business meetings, and merch making. BBYO could not be the thriving organization it is without all of the money raised, which is why we need your help!

What You Can Do

It is critical that BBYO members know about this event and encourage others to participate. Regions can ensure that each chapter is spreading information, social media, and creating local events. Chapter boards can reach out and explain the value of the program and why people should donate. As a Giving BBYO Day ambassador, I will be making sure to promote the event on social media and talk about it to friends, as well as family.

How to Donate
